Join the conversation – blog for CGU’s Kingsley & Kate Tufts Poetry Awards.

We’re looking for two Tufts Bloggers-in-Residence for Spring 2016.

These are paid positions – we are able to offer a small stipend, along with eternal internet glory. In exchange, you’ll
•    Attend meetings (1-2 over the course of the semester) in the Tufts office
•    Write 5-6 blog posts during the Spring 2016 semester. These posts will center around the Tufts Poetry Awards and content related to contemporary poetry. Such posts might include (but are not limited to):
o    Reviews of or engagements with Tufts winners’ and/or finalists’ books
o    Close readings or other informal engagements with selected Tufts winners’ and/or finalists’ poems
o    Short interviews with Tufts winners
o    Short interviews with Tufts judges
o    Reports-from-the field after attending Tufts events during the week-in-residence and awards season (public poetry readings, awards ceremony, poetry panels, AWP events, dinners)
o    Other contemporary-poetry related observations/analysis/responses
•    Attend Tufts events if possible (for Spring 2016, relevant dates include 2/27/16, 3/31/16, and 4/7/16)

If interested, please email your cover letter along with 1) CV or resume, 2) informal writing sample or links where we can find your relevant published informal writing, and 3) a short proposal describing two blog posts you’d like to write for the Tufts site.  Applications will be accepted through Monday, Nov. 23, 2015.
