Dawn

DAWN LUNDY MARTIN
2019 Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award
Recipient of the Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award for Good Stock Strange Blood, Dawn Lundy Martin is a poet, essayist, and conceptual-video artist. She is the author of Life in a Box is a Pretty Life, which won the Lambda Literary Award for Lesbian Poetry. Martin co-edited the anthology Letters to the Future: BLACK WOMEN/Radical WRITING. Martin is a professor of English at the University of Pittsburgh and director of the Center for African American Poetry and Poetics. She was the recipient of a 2018 National Endowment for the Arts grant in creative writing.

DIANA KHOI NGUYEN
2019 Kate Tufts Discovery Award
Author of Ghost Of, winner of the Kate Tufts Discovery Award, Diana Khoi Nguyen is a multimedia artist and award-winning poet whose work has appeared widely in literary journals including PoetryAmerican Poetry ReviewBoston ReviewPEN America, and The Iowa Review. She was a 2018 National Book Award finalist, and the winner of the 2017 Omnidawn Open Book contest. Nguyen teaches at the Lighthouse Writers Workshop and at the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business.
